I have been in the field of early childhood education since 1998. I received my director's credential from Rutgers University and started my career as a toddler teacher, working my way up to center director. I have been a director since 2006. I successfully accredited a former center through the NECPA accreditation program.
As a mother, I have seen first-hand the positive impact that early childhood education provides. At an early age, children learn skills that set the foundation for the academic years. We believe children should have the opportunity to learn at their own pace while exploring the world around them.
My enjoyment of education began when I was young, when I would hold mock "school classes" with my neighborhood friends and act as the teacher. My love of education thrived as I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education in 1997 from Cabrini College in Radnor, PA. I began working as a summer camp counselor for a learning center in 1994, quickly working my way up to the position of a Kindergarten teacher. I worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 15 years. Knowing the importance of early childhood milestones, I became a curriculum director, providing the classrooms with goals and objectives for each child. Also, being able to share my wealth of knowledge with our staff.
