The Preschool programs here at Kaleidoscope Academy offers the perfect backdrop for educational success and flourishing students. Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills: sequencing and matching; social skills: similarities and diversity; language art skills: storytelling and writing.
Our Preschool program sets the stage for self-confidence by encouraging progress at the child's own pace, according to their individual needs and abilities. Your Preschoolers' program will be customized to match your child's age, needs and progress.
Our staff through the use of The Creative Curriculum System will assist your child in developing vocabulary and reading proficiency that will last a lifetime. We will stimulate your child with a hands-on approach to introductory math, science and social studies. Your child's imagination, creativity and natural love of learning will thrive.
THE CLASSROOM
The classroom is arranged into well defined centers: Library, Language/Writing, Science, Math, Sensory, Computers, Manipulatives/Table Toys, Cars & Trucks, Blocks and Art. Each center has endless possibilities for learning and interacting.
The children engage in meaningful activities not just pretend ones. They practice tying their own shoes and hanging their own coats. They practice using good manners and positive social interactions.
Each child is assigned their own personal cubby to store nap items and spare clothing. Sippy cups are not permitted in the Preschool Classroom. All items must be labeled with your child's first and last name. Children are assigned a nap mat that is theirs until moving to the next classroom.
