INFANTS

Our infant programs are designed to offer each child the kind nurturing environment essential for successful growth and development.  We'll engage your baby in a highly personalized, developmentally appropriate and integrated infant daycare program, designed to promote early childhood development and foster lifelong learning habits.

From Infant care to Pre-K, we strive to foster a sense of community that builds up each child's background and learning abilities so that each one develops a positive sense of self.  Children feel that they are at the "other home" when they step through the doors of Kaleidoscope Academy. 

Infants are growing and learning every moment of every day.  From crawling to rolling over to pulling up and taking first steps our program encourages milestone achievement in your baby's first months.  We recognize the importance of each stage of growth and development and encourage that development in a safe environment that nurtures each child's emerging skills and celebrates their practice.  Our infant program also focuses on offering children a variety of hands-on experiences that combine play and early learning, giving each child opportunities to explore and develop knowledge of the world around them. 

A warm classroom setting has been specially designed to help your child feel safe and secure while providing freedom of movement and inviting exploration through teacher interactions and stimulating activities. All equipment and toys are sanitized several times a day to promote a healthy environment.  All staff and parents are required to wear booties over their shoes to keep our floors clean and sanitary.

All bottles and food is refrigerated and then bottles are heated in a bottle warmer and food is heated in a microwave as needed. Each child has his or her own crib.   Parents provide all items such as bottles, pacifiers, diapers, sheets (for Bordentown location only).  All items are labeled and stored separately.

Each parent is required to complete a Feeding Plan for you baby.  This allows us to customize  your infants schedule according to his/her individualized needs.  Schedules can be adjusted as your infant grows.  You can adjust feeding times (cereal, baby foods and solids) and naps anytime.
